Eligibility Criteria
- The officer should have retired from a Bank honorably in Scale III, IV, and V, only on attaining the superannuation at the age of 60 years. The Voluntary retired/ resigned/left the Bank otherwise before superannuation is not eligible for consideration.
- Officers should have a good track record of performance and in-depth knowledge of the systems and procedures.
- They should have good credit/Audit/operational background and should be aware of the Bank’s Systems and the procedures, positive aptitude, analytical ability and flair to take up inspection Assignment.
- The officers who have retired in a cadre are eligible for the proportionate grade as concurrent auditors.
- The age of the aspirant should not be more than 62 years as on 01.04.2018.
- The candidate should NOT have been imposed significant penalty during the last ten years before retirement.
- Applicants should have physical fitness and medically fit to travel to distant branches/places for Inspection and security verification.
Selection Process
The application forms shall be scrutinized based on the stipulated eligibility criteria for the Retired Bank Officers post by the Screening Committee, and the short list of the candidates will be prepared based on the requirement at each Centre or Regional office. A three-member Committee will then interview the applicants shortlisted for the interview. The resolution of the selection committee shall be finalized for the selection process.

Period Of Engagement
The engagement shall be made on the contract basis and will be initially for one year which may be renewed for a further period of one year, for a maximum of three terms, subject to the aspirant attaining 65 years of age. The contract will be renewed subject to the suitability/ satisfactory service/ annual assessment, at the sole discretion of the Bank. The performance of the individuals shall be evaluated/ reviewed on the following lines:
- Quality of reporting
- Mobility
- Promptness to accept assignment
- Timely completion of audit assignments
- Satisfactory conduct
- Period of absence
- Other grounds such as medical etc.
