About Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL):

BCCL is a Public Sector Undertaking engaged in mining of coal and allied activities. It occupies an important place in as much as it produces the bulk of the coking coal mined in the country. BCCL meets almost 50% of the total prime coking coal requirement of the integrated steel sector. BCCL was incorporated in January 1972 to operate coking coal mines operating in the Jharia & Raniganj Coalfields, taken over by the Govt. of India on 16th Oct 1971 to ensure planned development of the scarce coking coal resources in the country. To Produce planned quantity of coal Efficiently and Economically in an Eco-friendly manner with due regard to Safety, Conservation & Quality. Coal Industry, being one of the basic and oldest Industries, had over decades developed a distinct culture with different groups of collieries having sub-cultures of their own. The Government takeover of Coking Coal Mines in 1971 was shocking and disgruntling for the elements with the vested interest. These elements tried all types of subdues to bring discredit to BCCL, a newborn Company in Public Sector. Rumours and occasional press reports highlighted the potentiality of corruption on a large scale in the Company. The Nationalisation of Non-Coking Coal Mines in 1973 further enlarged these dimensions. Presently BCCL Vigilance is headed by Sri Prashant Kumar Sinha, I.R.S., Chief Vigilance Officer, who reports directly to CMD, BCCL. Besides C.V.O., there are 14 Officers and 24 Staff in the Vigilance Department.

Interested candidates can apply for BCCL Recruitment 2017 for the following positions as per their Qualifications:

Staff Nurse ( Trainee): 10+2 plus ‘A’ Grade Nursing Diploma or Certificate from a recognized institute approved by the Government.

Junior Technician (ECG): Higher Secondary (10+2)/Intermediate & two years experience certificate as ECG Technician in a hospital under a Cardiologist/Physician or in a reputed Nursing home having ECG service under a
Cardiologist/Physician.Preference shall be given to graduates and to those who can handle running a repair of the equipment.

Technician (Audiometry)( Trainee):  Higher Secondary (10+2)/Intermediate plus Diploma in Audiometry from Govt. recognized Institute.

Technician(Refraction/Optometry): Higher Secondary (10+2)/Intermediate plus Diploma in Refraction/Optometry from Govt. recognised Institute/Govt. Hospital.

Technician (Dental): Higher Secondary (10+2)/Intermediate plus Diploma in Dentistry/Dental
Technology from Govt. recognized Institute.

Physiotherapist: Diploma in Physiotherapy from Govt. recognized Institute (minimum 3 years course).

Technician (Dietician): Recognized Diploma in Dietetics

Technician (Pathological):  Diploma in Lab Technology (Pathological) from an Institute recognized
by the Government.The Technician Para Medical Staff who are matriculated and who have served in Army for a period of at least 10 years prior to retirement shall also be treated as possessing the desired qualifications laid down for the post of Technician(Pathological)-Trainee in T&S Grade-C. After successful completion of one-year training, they will be regularized as Technician (Pathological) in T & S Grade-C.

Technician (Radiographer): Diploma in Radiography from an Institute recognized by the
Government. The Technician Para Medical Staff who are matriculated and who have served in Army for a period of at least 10 years prior to retirement shall also be treated as possessing the desired qualifications laid down for the post of Technician (Radiographer) -Trainee – T&S Gr. C. After successful completion of one-year training, they will be regularized as Technician (Radiographer) in T & S Grade-C.

Pharmacist: 10+2 with science and Diploma in Pharmacy registered with Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act. 1948 with valid registration.

Accountant:  Intermediate Examination of ICWA or CA.

Overseer (Civil): Should have passed the Matriculation or equivalent examination.And should have a recognized Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 Years).

Junior Overman: Diploma in Mining Engineering of 03 years duration from recognized institute. Valid Overman’s Certificate of Competency issued by Director General of Mines Safety (DGMS).  Valid Gas Testing Certificate. Valid First Aid Certificate.

Mining Sirdar: Valid Mining Sirdar’s Certificate issued by Director General Mines Safety (DGMS). Valid Gas Testing Certificate. Valid First Aid Certificate.
