Eligibility Criteria
- Dean/ Director – Master’s ·Degree in any subject in the concerned faculty of the college including basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
A minimum of 15 years of experience m teaching/research/extension education/administration, of which 7 years in Pay Band-IV with at least three years as Professor or equivalent position. The experience should be relevant to the position concerned with administrative experience. Good academic record with a Ph.D. in any subject in that faculty of the concerned College.

Professor – Master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline.
A minimum of ten years experience in teaching/research/extension, of which at least 3 years should be as Associate Professor or equivalent in Pay Band-4.
- Associate professor/ Sr. Scientist & Head/Dy. Director of Extension Education – Master’s degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline
A minimum of eight years experience of teaching/research/extension education as Assistant Professor or equivalent position. However, in the case of Engineering disciplines, a minimum of six years of experience in relevant post & scale shall be considered.
Contribution in research/teaching/extension education as evidenced by published Work/innovations and outcome.
Published work in the form of at least 5 scientific papers in journals of repute with four and above NAAS rating.
- Assistant Professor – Master’s degree in the relevant subject including basic sciences with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade point.
Evidence of having cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ASRB, UGC, CSIR. (NET shall not be required m disciples for which NET is not conducted).
