Eligibility Criteria

  • Assistant Professor Journalism on Contract (English / Hindi medium) – The NET in Journalism /Mass Media and Mass Communication is mandatory to apply for the post. provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in Journalism /Mass Media and Mass Communication in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for award of M. Phil. /Ph.D. degree). Regulations, 2009 and 2016 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility criteria of NET.
  • Assistant Professor Journalism/ related area and languages on the Guest basis (English / Hindi medium) – NET in Journalism/Mass Media and Mass Communication/ relevant area/ subject/ relevant language is mandatory to apply for the post of Guest Faculty. We Provided, however, that candidates who are or have been awarded Ph.D. Degree in Journalism /Mass Media and Mass Communication/ relevant area/ subject/ relevant language in compliance of the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and procedure for award of M. Phil. / Ph.D. degree). Regulations, 2009 and 2016 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility criteria of NET.
