About Haryana State Technical Education Society
Haryana Government has constituted Haryana State Technical Education Society–HSTES (formerly known as Haryana State Counseling Society-HSCS) in the Department of Technical Education for implementation of transparent and uniform procedure for admissions to various post-graduate, graduate and diploma courses in different disciplines of Engineering, Technology, Architecture & Planning, Pharmacy, Management etc. in the State. The admissions to Diploma (Engg.) and Diploma (Pharmacy) course are made on the basis of inter-se-merit of the qualifying examination. The Society also conducts State level On-Line Entrance Tests for admission to Diploma (Engg.) Lateral Entry, Lateral Entry in BE/ B. Tech. and MCA courses.
The admissions to BE/ B.Tech courses are made on the basis of Inter-se-merit of combined merit of JEE (Main) conducted by the CBSE and Class 12th exam on All India Basis. Admissions to B. Arch. Course are made on the basis of rank obtained in NATA conducted by COA and admissions to MBA course are made on the basis of highest score obtained by a candidate in CMAT conducted by AICTE. The Society was constituted on 21-3-2007 by notification no. – 20/2/07-4 TE by the State of Haryana. It is a self-sustaining body and meets its expenditure mainly through the charging of fees for various services it renders.

Haryana CEET Exam Pattern 2017
- There will be a paper of 60 marks for Physics.
- There will be a paper of 60marks for Chemistry.
- There will be a paper of 60 marks for Mathematics.
- It is expected that Haryana CEET 2017 will be held in June 2017.
- The Syllabus will be of 11th and 12th Std

Haryana CEET Qualification And Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
For B.Tech/BE
- Candidates must have qualified in JEE Main 2017
- Candidate must have passed Class XII from the Haryana State Board or an equivalent recognized board, with a minimum of 45%.
- Candidate must have passed Class XII from the Haryana State Board or an equivalent recognized board, with a minimum of 40% for SC/ST candidates.
- Candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Chemistry / Bio-Technology/ Computer Science / Biology as optional subjects.
Application Fee:
- The General and OBC candidates, who are participating in the CEET entrance exam need to pay: Rs.500/-
- The SC and ST candidates, who are participating in the CEET entrance exam need to pay: Rs.250/-
Age Limit:
The candidates, who are participating in the CEET entrance exam should have more than 17 years of age for examination year.
