About Haryana State Technical Education Society
Haryana Government has constituted Haryana State Technical Education Society–HSTES (formerly known as Haryana State Counseling Society-HSCS) in the Department of Technical Education for implementation of transparent and uniform procedure for admissions to various post-graduate, graduate and diploma courses in different disciplines of Engineering, Technology, Architecture & Planning, Pharmacy, Management etc. in the State. The admissions to Diploma (Engg.) and Diploma (Pharmacy) course are made on the basis of inter-se-merit of the qualifying examination.
The Society also conducts State level On-Line Entrance Tests for admission to Diploma (Engg.) Lateral Entry, Lateral Entry in BE/ B. Tech. and MCA courses. The admissions to BE/ B.Tech courses are made on the basis of Inter-se-merit of combined merit of JEE (Main) conducted by the CBSE and Class 12th exam on All India Basis. Admissions to B. Arch. Course are made on the basis of rank obtained in NATA conducted by COA and admissions to MBA course are made on the basis of highest score obtained by a candidate in CMAT conducted by AICTE.

Haryana MCA Entrance Exam Pattern 2017
There will be one Paper of 90 minutes duration in three parts as under.
- Part I – Mathematics – 50 Questions (1-50) – 50 marks
- Part II Logical & Analytical Ability – 20 Questions (51 – 70) – 20 Marks
- Part III English / Comprehension 20 Questions (71 – 90) – 20 marks
- Only objective type / multiple questions with one correct answer will be asked in the entrance test.

- Pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 yrs duration with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level.
OR
- Pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 Yrs duration with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
OR
- Should be pass in BCA Degree of minimum three years duration from recognized University Obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.
