Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JEECE) is a state level exam which is organized by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). JEECE exam will be organized to offer admission to BE/B.Tech degree course in the state colleges of Jharkhand. This exam would help for taking admission into JEECE approved Institutions. About AICTE
Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board was constituted under Section 85 of Bihar Re-Constituted Act, 2000 by the Govt. vide Memo No. 374 dated 29.03.2001. The Government of Jharkhand has assigned the responsibility of conducting entrance tests for admission into various Institutions in the state. J.C.E.C.E.B. presently organizes the following entrance tests annually depends upon the approval granted by the respective Departments of Govt. of Jharkhand.
Jharkhand (lit. “Bushland”) is a state in eastern India carved out of the southern part of Bihar on 15 November 2000.The state shares its border with the states of Bihar to the north, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to the west, Odisha to the south, and West Bengal to the east. It has an area of 79,710 km2 (30,778 sq mi). The industrial city of Ranchi is its capital and Dumka its sub-capital. Jamshedpur is the largest industrial city in the state, while Dhanbad and Bokaro Steel City are the second and fourth most populous cities respectively. Jharkhand accounts for 40% of the mineral resources of India.

- The questions given in the exam will be MCQ’s (Multiple Choice Type).
- Medium of question will be in English and Hindi
- A total number of questions given will 150 Questions.
- For each and every correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded.
- ¼ will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The subjects in examination comprise of PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
- Each subject carries 50 MCQ’s.
JEECE 2018 Registration Eligibility:
Every Candidate applying for JEECE must check Eligibility initially. The Candidate should meet all the criteria so that he might in a position to apply for the exam. Here we provide you with all the eligibility requirements.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate must be a domicile of Jharkhand state.
- Candidate must complete 10+2 qualification from a recognized board.
- Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Candidates must have at least 45% of general category and 40% for the reserved category in the qualifying exam.
Age Criteria
- The age criteria are not taken into consideration.
JEECE 2018 FEE Structure
- Application fee can be paid via credit card/debit card/net banking.
- Application fee for general category is Rs: 550/-
- Application fee for reserved category is Rs: 275/-
