About Commissioner of Entrance Examination(CEE)
The Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations (CEE) is conducting nine distinct Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Courses every year: Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Degree (KEAM), Three year LLB, Five year LLB, LLM, PG Ayurveda, PG Homoeo, PG Nursing, PG Medical and Super Specialty. The Commissionerate is also making allotments to KEAM, Three year LLB, Five year LLB, LLM, PG Dental and PG Medical courses. The allotments are made through a Single Window System of the Centralised Allotment Process (CAP). The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations was established in 1983 as a separate set up for the conduct of Entrance Examinations for admission to Professional Courses in the State.
The Higher Education Department in the Secretariat is functioning as the administrative department of the Commisionerate of Entrance Examinations. The Commissionerate has been conducting thirteen Entrance Examinations, both for Undergraduate and Post Graduate Professional Courses. Of these examinations conducted in a time bound manner and catering to the needs of the aspirants of Professional Courses, the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical Entrance Examinations (KEAM) is the major one in which near about one lakh seventy thousand candidates participate every year. The other courses for which the CEE conducts Entrance Examinations are Three year LLB, Five Year LLB, LLM, MD Homoeo, MDS, MD Ayurveda, M Sc Nursing, PG Medical and PG Super Speciality.

Kerala KEAM Qualification And Eligibility Criteria
Qualification
For Medical courses
Candidates must have passed higher secondary or equivalent exam with securing 50% marks in biology/biotechnology individually and 50% marks in physics, chemistry and biology/biotechnology together
For B.Tech courses
Candidates should have cleared the 12th or equivalent exam with obtaining at least 50% marks in mathematics individually and 50% marks together in physics, chemistry & mathematics.
Application Fee
- For General and OBC category candidates: Rs.800/-
- For SC category candidates: Rs.400/-
- There is no application fee for ST category candidates.
Age Limit
- The candidates should have completed 17 years for examination year.
- There no upper age limit.
