About Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State:
The Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra conducts entrance exams and counseling for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in colleges and universities of Maharashtra. More than 2000 educational institutions in the state use DTE Maharashtra exams. The Directorate conducts entrance test including MH-CET, the state entrance test for admission in technical institute degree courses, including Diploma courses for Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Hotel Management and catering technology.

MAH HM CET Exam Qualification and Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate should be an Indian National;
- Passed HSC or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate (at least 40% marks in aggregate for backward class category and Persons with Disabilities candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only);
- Candidates appearing for qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for CET.
Application Fee:
- Rs. 700/- for all candidates from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), Open Category Candidates from Maharashtra State and J & K Migrant candidates.
- Rs. 500/- for Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJDT NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] & Persons with Disability Candidates.
