Educational Qualifications
- Scientist ‘C’ (Programming) – 1st class MCA/ M.Sc.(IT)/ M.Sc.(Computer Science) with four years R&D/ teaching experience in MCA/M.Sc. (IT)/M.Sc. (Computer Science) after 1st Class Master’s Degree Or 2nd MCA/M.Sc.(IT)/ M.Sc.(Computer Science) with Ph.D. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Application with 4 years R&D/teaching experience in MCA/M.Sc. (IT)/ M.Sc. (Computer Science) after M.Sc. + Ph.D.
- Scientist ‘B’ (Biochemistry) (Reserved for PwD) – 1st class Master’s degree in Biochemistry from a recognized university. Or 2nd class M.Sc. in Biochemistry + Ph.D. in Biochemistry/ Medical Biochemistry/ Pharmacology from a recognized University.
- Scientist ‘B’ (Social & Behavioural Sciences) – 1st class Master degree in Sociology/ Social Work/ Medical Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology from a recognized University. Or 2nd class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in Sociology/Social Work/ Medical Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology from a recognized University.
- Scientist ‘B’ (Medical) NIRT-Epidemiology Unit – Should have completed their MBBS recognized by MCI.
- Technical Officer-B – 1st Class Post-Graduate Degree in Microbiology/Medical Microbiology/ Bacteriology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology. OR 2nd class PG Degree in Microbiology/ Medical Microbiology/ Bacteriology/ Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology with Ph.D. in the subject as mentioned earlier from a recognized University.
- Technical Officer -B NIRT-Epidemiology Unit – 1st Class M.Sc Degree in Epidemiology/Public Health. OR 2nd class M.Sc Degree in Epidemiology/Public Health with Ph.D. in Epidemiology / Public Health from a recognized University.
