Eligibility Criteria For RRB Recruitment 2018
Educational Qualifications – Applicants must Pass Matriculation or the SSLC plus ITI, Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical or Electronics, the Automobile Engineering, Degree in the Engineering disciplines as above will also be acceptable in the Diploma in Engineering from the recognized Organization or the Board.
Age Limits – Applying candidates should have the age limit between 18 years to 30 years.
Upper Age Limit – The Upper age limit is relaxed by the following:
- 5 years for SC/ST
- 3 years for OBC
- 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s)

- Go to the official website of the Railway Recruitments Boards @ rrbchennai.gov.in.
- Candidates can log in with right credentials (i.e., the Registration Number and Date of birth) from the link inserted below. This will take the candidates to RRB Recruitment selection page.
- To select the RRB, competitors need to click on the button next to the RRB Name and Click ‘Save and Next’ button at the bottom of the page.
- For the chosen RRB, the list of vacancies for which the candidate are eligible will be displayed to enable the competitors to enter the priority number in the order of their preference. Candidates will be granted only for the posts for which post, the decision has been introduced. Tick on ‘Save and Next’ button at the underside of the screen.
- After confirming/selecting the exam trade, hit on the ‘submit’ key.
- The contestants need to confirm / Modify the bank details through which they desire to receive the refund of the Exam fee as applicable. In case of modification of bank details, validation through OTP sent to the candidate’s phone number would be needed. Click on ‘Save and Submit’ button at the on the screen.
