About Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination
The Tripura joint Entrance Examinations Board was formed for Admission to Engineering Degree Colleges, Medical Colleges, and other professional degree courses.Born out of a concept of holding a common admission test for the Engineering colleges and Medical Colleges. The basic purpose was to select candidates for consideration for admission to the Colleges on the basis of the results of a single competitive examination, which would also lead to a saving of time, energy and expenditure on the part of the candidates in appearing at a number of entrance tests.

- The GROUP A Technical candidates have to appear in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

TBJEE Qualification And Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
- The candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident Tripura.
- Either he himself or any of his parents must be the residents of the state of Tripura for at least 10 years (not less than 10 years) immediately before the date of Application for appearing in the Joint Entrance Examination 2017.
- The candidate must possess higher secondary examination/12 grade from the Tripura Board of Secondary Education/ CBSC/ ICSE.
Age Limit:
Age relaxation will be given as per the government rules pertaining to this very purpose.

- For General category candidates: Rs.350/-
- For SC/ST category candidates: Rs.300/-
- For BPL General category candidates: Rs.250/-
