Tripura TET Results
Department of School Education, Tripura will be declared the Tripura TET Results release date through the official website trb.tripura.gov.in. As the examination process has been completed so it will take some time to announce the Tripura TET Results 2017. Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII. The government of Tripura has constituted the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for selection of candidates at the elementary level (for classes I to VIII). TRBT also holds the selection test for Graduate Teachers (for classes IX-X) and selection test for Post Graduate Teachers (for classes XI-XII).
About Department of School Education, Tripura
In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 23 of the RTE Act, National council for Teacher Education had vided Notification dated 23rd August 2010 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in various levels of classes. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII in any of the schools referred to in clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that she/he should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the National council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Accordingly, Government of Tripura has constituted the Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) for conduct of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for selection of candidates at elementary level (for classes I to VIII) as well as conduct of Selection Test for Graduate Teachers (for classes IX-X) and Selection Test for Post Graduate Teachers (for classes XI-XII) for recommendation of recruitment of teachers.

Tripura TET Qualification And Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year B.ED / B.El.Ed / Diploma in Education or Graduation Degree with B.ED Diploma for becoming Teacher for Classes 1st to 5th class. And for 6th to 8th Class teacher Graduation passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / B.ED / B.El.Ed.
Application Fee:
- For General category candidates: Rs.500/-(Paper I). Rs.800/-(Both Paper I Paper II)
- For SC/ST category candidates: Rs.250/-(Paper I). Rs.400/-(Both Paper I Paper II)
Age Limit:
- Applicant’s age should not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years.
- Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per rules.
