Aspirants who are interested to join in Ph.D. (English), Ph.D. (Analytical & Applied Economics) & Ph.D. (Geography) should possess Master’s Degree from Kannur University or any other recognized University, with minimum 55% marks. Contenders should pass in qualifying Degree Examination for SC, ST candidates and 5% relaxation in marks for teachers of affiliated colleges.

Candidates Ph.D. (English), Ph.D. (Analytical & Applied Economics) & Ph.D. (Geography) admission at Kannur University is based on candidate’s marks in the qualifying degree exam and performance in the entrance test which is conducted by the Kannur University. The entrance test will be of three hours and it carries a maximum of 100 marks including objective and descriptive questions.
